Mit der Meldung „Garagenbrand, brennt Hecke, droht auf Carport überzugreifen“ wurden die Feuerwehren Lasfelde und Osterode zum Einsatzort alarmiert.

Beim gleichzeitigen Eintreffen der beiden Löschzüge an der Einsatzstelle standen weite Teile der Hecke in Brand. Ein größeres Übergreifen des Brandes auf das Carport konnte durch das schnelle Eingreifen verhindert werden.

Eine vor Ort angetroffene Person wurde aufgrund des Einatmens von Rauchgasen vom Rettungsdienst in die Klinik transportiert.
